  • 2 plain bagels sliced in half
  • 0.5 cup pizza sauce
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese low-moisture
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 18-20 slices pepperoni optional
For Garnish
  • 1 tsp dried oregano optional
  • fresh basil optional
  • crushed red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Slice bagels in half horizontally. For a crispier base, lightly toast the cut sides.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly on each bagel half. Top with mozzarella, pepperoni (if using), Parmesan, and a pinch of oregano.
  4. Place bagels in the air fryer basket in a single layer (cook in batches if needed).
  5. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6-8 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and bagel edges are crisp.
  6. Carefully remove with tongs. Let cool for 1-2 minutes, garnish as desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Use low-moisture mozzarella for optimal melting. Customize with your favorite pizza toppings.
