- Pat chicken breasts dry. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Sear chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add chicken broth, lemon juice, zest, oregano, and thyme. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, and cook 2–3 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Optional: stir in heavy cream and Parmesan for a creamy sauce.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate chicken for 30 minutes before cooking. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice for a complete meal.
