- Cut and soak onions in ice water for 30 minutes.
- Prepare flour and egg mixtures.
- Coat onions thoroughly and double dredge for extra crispiness.
- Heat oil to 350°F.
- Fry 3–4 minutes until golden brown.

- Mix dipping sauce ingredients.
- Serve warm with sauce.
Notes
For a lighter version, bake or air fry instead of deep frying.
