Ingredients
  

Base
  • 200 g feta cheese block
  • 4 eggs large
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup cherry tomatoes optional
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • to taste black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a small baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Place feta in the center of the dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Add garlic, tomatoes, oregano, and chili flakes around the feta.
  4. Bake for 10–12 minutes until feta softens.
  5. Crack eggs around the feta without breaking yolks.
  6. Return to oven and bake 8–10 minutes until egg whites set.
  7. Season with pepper, garnish with herbs, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve immediately with crusty bread for best texture.
