Method
- Brown ground beef in skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
- Stir in spices and tomato sauce; simmer 5–7 minutes.
- Spoon beef mixture onto tortillas and top with cheese.
- Fold and roll tortillas tightly.
- Heat oil to 350°F and fry chimichangas until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
Notes
Can be baked at 400°F for 20–25 minutes for a lighter option.
