Ingredients
  

Meatballs
  • 1.5 lb ground beef 80/20 preferred
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 2 eggs large
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk. Let soak for 1–2 minutes.
  3. Add eggs, cheese, garlic, onion, parsley, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and olive oil. Mix gently.
  4. Add ground beef and mix just until combined.
  5. Form mixture into 1½-inch meatballs and place on baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  7. Serve immediately or simmer briefly in sauce before serving.

Notes

Do not overmix to keep meatballs tender.
