- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare cake pans.
- Whisk together dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy, then mix in cookie butter.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk to form batter.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until set. Cool completely.
- Prepare frosting and assemble cake.
