Ingredients
  

Pizza Base
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
Toppings
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella sliced or torn
  • 0.5 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves only
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Pizza stone or baking sheet

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
  2. Stretch pizza dough into a round and place on parchment paper.
  3. Mix olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush lemon oil over dough, leaving a border for crust.
  5. Add ricotta and mozzarella evenly across the surface.
  6. Sprinkle herbs and Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Bake 10–14 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Finish with fresh basil and extra lemon zest before serving.

Notes

Use fresh herbs for best flavor and avoid overusing lemon juice.
