Ingredients
  

Bubble Up Biscuit Pizza Casserole
  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuits 16 oz each
  • 2 cups pizza sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup pepperoni mini or chopped
  • 0.5 cup green bell pepper diced
  • 0.5 cup black olives sliced
  • 0.25 cup onion diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for greasing dish
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 fresh basil or parsley for garnish

  • Mixing bowls
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut biscuits into quarters and place in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add pizza sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir gently to coat biscuits.
  4. Layer half the biscuit pieces in the baking dish. Top with half the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
  5. Add half the pepperoni, bell pepper, olives, and onions.
  6. Add remaining biscuit pieces, then top with remaining cheeses and toppings.
  7. Cover with foil and bake 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let rest 5–10 minutes. Sprinkle Parmesan and basil/parsley before serving.

Notes

For a crispier top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end. You can swap toppings to customize this casserole.
