Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1.5 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp butter
For Serving
  • 6 brioche buns toasted
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat and sauté onion and bell pepper until softened.
  2. Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  3. Brown ground chicken completely.
  4. Stir in tomato paste and Cajun seasoning.
  5. Add broth and simmer until slightly reduced.
  6. Stir in cream cheese, heavy cream, and butter until creamy.
  7. Serve on toasted buns and garnish with parsley.

Adjust spice level to taste by modifying cayenne or Cajun seasoning.
