Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- In another bowl, cream butter and cream cheese until smooth. Mix in shredded cheddar.
- Beat in egg until incorporated. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until soft dough forms.
- Fold in diced jalapeños evenly.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet, flatten slightly.
- Bake 12–15 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on wire rack.
- Serve warm or store in airtight container.
