- Mix cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into tart pan. Chill to set.
- Heat half the cream and pour over chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth.
- Whip remaining cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Stir peppermint and vanilla into cooled chocolate.
- Fold whipped cream gently into chocolate mixture.
- Fill crust with mousse and smooth top.
- Chill at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
