- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour and salt until dough forms.
- Fold in chopped nuts.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheets.
- Bake 12–14 minutes until bottoms are lightly golden.
- Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar, cool completely, then roll again.

Roll cookies twice in powdered sugar for the best snowy coating.
