- Activate yeast in warm milk and sugar until foamy.
- Mix flour and salt, add yeast mixture, egg, and butter to form dough.
- Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Incorporate raisins evenly.
- Let dough rise until doubled in size.
- Roll out dough, add butter and cinnamon sugar.
- Roll tightly, place in loaf pan, and let rise again.
- Bake at 350°F for 35–40 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
For extra plump raisins, soak in warm water for 10 minutes before mixing into dough.
