Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares or rectangles.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk until smooth.
- Score a border around each pastry and fill centers with cream cheese mixture.
- Top with cherry filling and brush edges with egg wash.
- Bake 18–22 minutes until puffed and golden.
- Cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Optional powdered sugar glaze can be added after cooling.
