Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups broth chicken or vegetable
  • 0.75 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Stir in orzo and toast briefly.
  4. Add broth and simmer until orzo is tender.
  5. Stir in cream and Parmesan until creamy.

Notes

Add extra broth when reheating to loosen the sauce.
