Ingredients
  

Pasta & Seafood
  • 12 oz pasta penne or shells
  • 1 cup shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup scallops
  • 1 cup crab meat optional
Cream Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan grated

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta until al dente and drain.
  2. Sauté shrimp and scallops briefly; set aside.
  3. Prepare roux with butter and flour.
  4. Whisk in milk and cream until thickened.
  5. Stir in cheese and seasonings.
  6. Combine pasta and seafood with sauce.
  7. Transfer to baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes until golden.

Notes

For extra flavor, add white wine or lemon zest before baking.
