Ingredients
  

Goat Cheese Poppers
  • 10 oz fresh goat cheese log-style
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1.5 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme plus extra for garnish
  • 3-4 tbsp honey for drizzling

Method
 

  1. Shape goat cheese into balls and chill briefly.
  2. Coat in flour, dip in egg, and roll in breadcrumbs.
  3. Chill again for 20 minutes.
  4. Fry at 350°F until golden brown.
  5. Drain and drizzle with honey before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, double coat in breadcrumbs. Best served warm.
