Method
- In a bowl, mix chicken or beef, cheese, beans, corn, peppers, and spices.
- Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten edges with water, fold, and seal tightly.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep skillet.
- Fry wontons in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Drain on a wire rack and serve warm with dipping sauces.
Notes
Wontons can be baked or air-fried for a lighter option.
