Method
- Add cranberries, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and salt to the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and mixture thickens.
- Remove cinnamon sticks and blend mixture until smooth using an immersion blender.
- Stir in vanilla extract and cook uncovered for 30–60 minutes until desired thickness is reached.
- Cool completely and store in jars in the refrigerator or freezer.
Notes
Adjust sugar to taste depending on cranberry tartness. Thickens further as it cools.
