Ingredients
  

Sauce Base
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk warm
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning optional

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Whisk in flour to form a roux.
  4. Slowly add warm milk while whisking constantly.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and cook until thickened.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  8. Cool slightly before spreading on pizza dough.

Notes

Adjust thickness with milk as needed. Store refrigerated up to 4 days.
