Ingredients
  

Beef Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
Assembly
  • 4 flour tortillas burrito size
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheese

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and cook until softened. Stir in garlic.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Season with chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Warm tortillas until flexible.
  6. Fill tortillas with beef and cheese.
  7. Roll tightly into burritos and serve warm.

Notes

These burritos freeze well and can be customized with rice, beans, or vegetables.
