Method
- Cook rice according to package instructions and keep warm.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and cook ground beef until browned.
- Add soy sauce, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, and gochujang to the beef and cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Sauté spinach with a pinch of salt and sesame oil until wilted.
- Sauté carrots and zucchini until tender-crisp, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Fry eggs sunny-side up or to your preference.
- Assemble bowls with rice, beef, vegetables, and egg.
- Add gochujang, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Mix well before eating.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, swap beef with tofu or mushrooms. Adjust spice level by adding more or less gochujang.
