  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 bell peppers diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.5 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 4 brioche buns

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté onion and bell peppers until softened.
  3. Add garlic and cook briefly.
  4. Brown ground chicken thoroughly.
  5. Stir in Cajun seasoning and remaining sauce ingredients.
  6. Simmer until thickened.
  7. Toast buns and assemble sandwiches.

Notes

Adjust spice level to preference. Filling can be made ahead and reheated.
