Ingredients
  

Soup Base
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup carrots shredded
  • 2 cups bok choy chopped
  • 16 frozen potstickers

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add broth, soy sauce, and vinegar. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add mushrooms and carrots. Simmer 3–4 minutes.
  5. Add frozen potstickers and cook 6–8 minutes.
  6. Stir in bok choy and cook until wilted.
  7. Serve hot with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Do not overboil dumplings to prevent tearing. Add extra broth when reheating.
