- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roast pierced sweet potatoes on a baking sheet for 45–60 minutes until tender.
- Cool slightly, peel, and mash sweet potatoes until smooth.
- Mix in melted butter, sugars, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and eggs until creamy.
- Reduce oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread mixture into greased baking dish.
- Bake 25 minutes until set.
- Top with marshmallows and bake 10–15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
For best texture, roast instead of boil sweet potatoes. Add pecans for crunch if desired.
