Ingredients

Sliders
  • 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
  • 12 slider buns Hawaiian rolls recommended
  • 6-8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 small onion thinly sliced, optional
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 packet au jus mix or 1 cup store-bought au jus
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Equipment

  • Baking dish
  • Mixing bowl
  • Saucepan
  • Knife

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking dish and line it with parchment or lightly grease.
  2. Slice the slider buns horizontally and place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread half of the butter mixture over the bottom buns. Add roast beef evenly, then top with provolone slices and optional onions.
  5. Cover with the top buns and brush remaining butter mixture over the top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 12–15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5–7 minutes until cheese melts and buns are golden.
  7. Meanwhile, simmer beef broth and au jus mix in a saucepan for 5 minutes. Season to taste and keep warm.
  8. Serve sliders hot with au jus for dipping.

Notes

Best served warm. Store au jus separately and reheat before serving.
