Ingredients
  

Steak
  • 2 ribeye steaks 1–1½ inches thick
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Garlic Butter
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
Parmesan Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Cast iron skillet

Method
 

  1. Season steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear steaks in hot skillet with olive oil.
  3. Add butter and garlic, baste steaks.
  4. Remove steaks and rest.
  5. Prepare parmesan sauce in same pan.
  6. Serve steak with sauce on top.

Notes

Let steaks rest before slicing for maximum juiciness.
