Method
- Season steaks with salt and pepper.
- Sear in hot skillet with olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Add butter and garlic, baste for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove steaks and let rest 5-10 minutes.
- In same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic.
- Add heavy cream and simmer 3-4 minutes.
- Whisk in parmesan until smooth.
- Slice steak, top with sauce, and serve.
Notes
Use freshly grated parmesan for smooth melting and best flavor.
