Ingredients
  

Hamburger Steaks
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 preferred
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 cup onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
Creamy Dill Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 0.75 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp fresh dill chopped

Method
 

  1. Mix ground beef with breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape mixture into four steak-like patties.
  3. Sear patties in a hot skillet until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and whisk in flour.
  5. Gradually whisk in beef broth and cream until smooth.
  6. Return steaks to skillet and simmer until cooked through.
  7. Stir in fresh dill and serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh dill for best flavor and adjust sauce thickness with broth if needed.
