- Trim excess fat from the chicken breasts. Season with salt, black pepper, cumin, paprika, and chili powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- Melt butter in the same skillet. Add jalapeños and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add chicken broth, lime juice, and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add heavy cream for a creamier sauce if desired.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with rice or vegetables.
Notes
Adjust the heat by removing seeds from the jalapeños for a milder flavor. You can substitute the cream with coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
