- In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, paprika, and garlic powder.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and cream-style corn.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in corn kernels and diced jalapeños.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into oil and fry until golden.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
Adjust jalapeños to taste for more or less heat.
