Ingredients
  

Steak
  • 1.5 lb sirloin steak cut into cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Cast iron skillet
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife

Method
 

  1. Pat steak cubes dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear steak bites 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Reduce heat and add butter.
  5. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant.
  6. Toss steak in garlic butter and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the pan to achieve a perfect sear. Cook in batches if necessary.
