Mango Iced Tea

Ingredients
  

Tea Base
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 black tea bags
Mango Mixture
  • 2 ripe mangoes peeled and diced
  • 2-4 tbsp honey or sugar to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups cold water
  • ice cubes for serving
  • fresh mint leaves optional garnish

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Blender
  • Pitcher
  • Fine-Mesh Strainer

Method
 

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and steep tea bags for 5–7 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags and let tea cool to room temperature.
  3. Blend diced mango until smooth to create puree.
  4. Combine cooled tea, mango puree, lemon juice, and sweetener in a pitcher.
  5. Add cold water and stir well. Chill for at least 60 minutes.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with mint or mango slices.

Notes

Adjust sweetness based on mango ripeness. Best served chilled.
