Ingredients
  

Marinated Mushrooms
  • 1.5 lb mushrooms whole, cleaned
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Clean mushrooms and trim stems if needed.
  2. Whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, maple syrup, and spices.
  3. Toss mushrooms in marinade until evenly coated.
  4. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat grill to medium-high and oil grates.
  6. Thread mushrooms onto skewers.
  7. Grill 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally until tender and charred.
  8. Serve warm with fresh herbs.

Notes

Soak wooden skewers before grilling to prevent burning.
