Method
- Cut hot dogs into bite-size pieces and pat dry.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk egg and milk, then combine with dry ingredients to form a thick batter.
- Dip hot dog pieces into batter until fully coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease basket.
- Air fry mini corn dogs for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with dipping sauces.
Notes
Best served fresh and hot. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
