Ingredients
  

Batter
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 egg large
  • 0.75 cup milk
Filling
  • 6 hot dogs cut into bite-size pieces

Method
 

  1. Cut hot dogs into bite-size pieces and pat dry.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk egg and milk, then combine with dry ingredients to form a thick batter.
  4. Dip hot dog pieces into batter until fully coated.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease basket.
  6. Air fry mini corn dogs for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve warm with dipping sauces.

Notes

Best served fresh and hot. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
