Ingredients
  

Cream Layer
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream cold
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese room temperature
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Matcha Soak
  • 2 tbsp matcha powder plus extra for dusting
  • 0.75 cup warm water
Assembly
  • 24-30 ladyfinger cookies

Method
 

  1. Whisk matcha powder with warm water until smooth and set aside to cool.
  2. Whip cold heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Beat mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Fold whipped cream gently into mascarpone mixture.
  5. Dip ladyfingers briefly into matcha mixture.
  6. Layer soaked ladyfingers and cream mixture in serving dish.
  7. Repeat layers and smooth top.
  8. Refrigerate at least 240 minutes before serving. Dust with matcha before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, chill overnight and dust with fresh matcha before serving.
