No-Oven Turkish Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water adjust as needed

Method
 

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add yogurt, olive oil, and gradually mix in warm water.
  3. Knead dough until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
  5. Divide dough into portions and roll into flat circles.
  6. Cook each flatbread in a hot skillet until golden on both sides.

Notes

Keep cooked bread covered to maintain softness.
