- Cut 8 slices of thick bread (brioche or challah). Toast lightly if too fresh.
- Spread Nutella on 4 slices of bread.
- Top with remaining bread slices to form 4 sandwiches.
- Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a shallow bowl.
- Dip each sandwich into the mixture for 10–15 seconds per side.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tbsp butter.
- Cook sandwiches 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar, add berries or syrup, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use thick bread to prevent sogginess. Let cool for 1 minute before cutting to keep Nutella inside.
