Ingredients
  

French Toast
  • 8 slices brioche bread thick-cut
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 3 eggs large
  • 0.75 cup whole milk
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter for cooking

Method
 

  1. Spread Nutella onto four slices of bread and top with remaining slices to form sandwiches.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt together.
  3. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Dip sandwiches into custard mixture briefly on both sides.
  5. Cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with powdered sugar and syrup.

Notes

Use thick bread for best results and avoid oversoaking to prevent sogginess.
