  • 1 lb chicken breast boneless, skinless
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 cups orzo pasta uncooked
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Sear chicken in olive oil until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté onion and garlic in the same pot until fragrant.
  4. Add orzo and toast briefly.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and simmer until orzo is tender.
  6. Stir in cream and Parmesan to form sauce.
  7. Return chicken, simmer briefly, and serve.

Notes

Adjust Cajun seasoning to control spice level.
