Ingredients
  

Pasta Base
  • 12 oz pasta spaghetti or linguine
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 3.5 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add pasta and broth, ensuring pasta is mostly submerged.
  4. Bring to a boil, then simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until creamy.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust seasoning to taste and add extra broth if pasta thickens too much.
