Ingredients
  

Chicken Filling
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.33 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups cooked chicken diced
  • 1 cup carrots diced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 0.5 cup corn
Biscuit Topping
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.66 cup milk

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Sauté butter, onion, and garlic until soft.
  3. Add flour and cook briefly, then whisk in broth and milk until thickened.
  4. Stir in chicken and vegetables; simmer 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer filling to baking dish.
  6. Mix biscuit topping ingredients and drop spoonfuls over filling.
  7. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Brush biscuits with garlic butter for extra flavor.
