Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and chocolate together until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Whisk in sugars until glossy, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Spread half the batter into pan and spoon caramel over top.
- Cover with remaining batter and swirl gently.
- Bake 30–35 minutes until set around edges.
- Cool completely and finish with flaky sea salt.
Notes
For extra gooey brownies, slightly underbake and allow to set while cooling.
