Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 500 g ground pork
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp cilantro chopped
  • 2 tbsp green onions minced
  • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce or fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.5 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
Wrapper
  • 30 dumpling wrappers

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Steamer basket or skillet
  • Cutting board
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix ground pork with garlic, cilantro, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, white pepper, sugar, and cornstarch.
  2. Cover and rest filling in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  3. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
  4. Moisten edges with water, fold, and seal tightly.
  5. Steam dumplings for 8–10 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Serve hot with dipping sauce of choice.

Notes

Dumplings can be frozen uncooked and steamed directly from frozen.
